Belbin Team Roles
Focus on the roles that people naturally play within teams given
the present team structure, recognising that these may change
as team membership changes. Experience of working with teams and
team dynamics across the Cardiff City Council. Using the Belbin
profile to help Senior Manages across the Authority, as part of
in-house MBA programme, NEBSM Diploma and Certificate programmes
and as an aid to team development for a cross-functional teams
entering a national event.

DISC profiling
DISC profiling helps individuals identify their personal those
of their team members and key contacts. Experience working in
the early days of Orange PCS, creating their first in-house management
development programme. Also focused on the role of teams in organisations,
helping them to identify where they were in their lifestyle, using
the "Storming, Norming, Forming, Performing" framework.

behaviour according to the needs of the team. As an accredited
Master Trainer of TMSDI, used extensively across the global organisations
as a team analysis and development tool. Used within major corporate
and on an individual coaching basis. Created bespoke team development
events, ranging from team problem solving, relationship building,
and setting mission and vision for organisations, departments
or teams. Used as a core foundation for ‘Ambassador’
training across multi –national Telecom business.
Myers Briggs Type Indicator
Focus on personality type and contextual behaviour. Used to ‘stretch’
individuals and as a guide to understand actions of others in
a team or organisation. Licensed user of MBTI for use in coaching
development, and personal improvements at all levels. Used regularly
as an individual and team development tool.
Hays McBer Emotional
Intelligence profile
Focus on understanding self and learning how to adapt self to
meets needs of others. Experience of working with Hay Mcber (profile
developers) on a Senior Management Development Programme using
Emotional Intelligence profiling, Management Styles inventory,
Organisational Values, and Team climate 360 Feedback tools. Coaching
senior managers to identify how their style and approach affected
their team climate and performance, and how they could develop
to change the team climate and motivation.
Neuro Linguistic
Programming LAB profiling
‘Language and behavioural profiling’ is used extensively
to help individuals understand their own behaviour and thinking
styles, and to learn to recognise these behaviours in others,
and to adapt accordingly. As an accredited trainer of NPL to Master
Practitioner Level, I have regularly used this to assist individuals
identify their own patterns of behaviour and those of others.
